What led you to a career at Duratec?
“In January 2026, Duratec and its subsidiary MEnD Consulting acquired RGK Resources Pty Ltd, a privately owned and operated asset integrity, NDT and rope access business where I was the Managing Director.”
How does your role safeguard and extend asset and infrastructure?
“As NDT General Manager within the MEnD leadership team, I provide guidance and support to our experienced and well-respected technicians. Through their work, we deliver innovative inspection solutions for in-service assets, helping clients access accurate and critical data to determine whether an asset’s service life can be extended or whether remediation or replacement is required”
What’s your biggest professional achievement and why?
“Building a trusted team with a strong industry reputation for delivering high-quality outcomes is something I’m incredibly proud of. Our business unit, and Duratec as a whole, is only as strong as the professionalism our people demonstrate in the field and in their interactions with our clients. It’s through their efforts that we continue to grow and succeed.”
What do you enjoy most about working at Duratec?
“The culture and values. These qualities were evident from the very first time I came across the Duratec brand and met members of the senior leadership team. Being part of a successful Western Australian-founded business is something I’m extremely proud of. A strong legacy is being built, driven by the vision of the founders who remain involved in the business, and that passion continues to spread across the wider organisation.”
What have you learned during your time at Duratec / what has inspired you?
“One of the biggest lessons has been seeing how a larger organisation can scale through the power of unity and teamwork. Prior to RGK’s acquisition, we had reached a point where further growth required greater scale and support. Being part of the Duratec Group now allows us to leverage our collective strengths and deliver our expertise on a much broader national stage.”
What advice would you give to someone starting out in their career?
“Seek out as many mentors as possible and learn from each of them. Take the lessons and values that align with your own and use them to shape your career journey. Some of the most valuable lessons I’ve learned came from unexpected situations. Most importantly, develop your own mindset for success. If you’re determined to achieve your goals and remain committed to them, you may be surprised by what you can accomplish. “
