Duratec’s two year structured Engineering Graduate Program provides exposure to all areas of the business with a technical services rotation, as well as exposure to HSECQ, site work, tender management and business development.

With ongoing mentoring from our experienced staff members, graduates can take advantage of a wide range of career opportunities across the business. With a focus on the job learning, our graduates can expect:

  • Self-paced learning: where outcomes are solely driven by the graduates through the effective tracking of weekly learnings.
  • Personal development: enhancement of personal development and skills while performing work tasks. This includes exposure to a variety of working environments and personnel as well as the opportunity to interact with external stakeholders.
  • Internal training: workplace modules and procedures tailored
    directly to the graduate core deliverables.

What we look for

The Duratec Graduate Program is open to students who have recently finished their Bachelor degree in engineering or are in their final year and due for completion. Ideally candidates will also demonstrate the following skills:

  • Civil/Structural, Mechanical or Electrical Engineering qualifications.
  • A strong sense of commitment and a willingness to learn.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • The ability to work methodically and autonomously.
  • Proficient in the use of Microsoft Office.
  • Current drivers licence.
  • Willingness to travel to remote sites as required.
  • Not essential but previous industry experience will be highly regarded.
