Building Management and Works engaged Duratec to undertake a condition assessment of the Western Australian Police Headquarters in East Perth.

The survey involved testing of concrete elements on the facades of the building, revealing isolated delamination and degradation of both the existing structure and in some instances, the previous repair attempts.
Corrosion and efflorescence were also identified indicating that water ingress was occurring.
All findings were presented in a technical report identifying; the root causes, remediation options and budget estimates for repair.
Duratec then was commissioned to carry out ‘make safe’ repairs on the East and West ends of the Police HQ building.
