Correct a ponding issue on the footbridge between building 408 and 400 at the University’s Bentley Campus.

Details

An epoxy screed was installed to correct the ponding issues before a self-leveling epoxy with non-skid topcoat was applied.

Additional concrete and masonry repairs were also completed to the underside of the bridge and building entrances with the aesthetics taken care of by a full repaint of structural steel handrails and internal gyprock walls.

Highlights

  • A Duratec qualified surveyor took levels across the bridge to establish existing falls.
  • Works were carried out during the hot summer period at a time when least disruption would occur to staff and students.
  • Tremco’s Vulkem UV resistant trafficable deck coating system was used.

Capabilities

  • Flooring Systems
