Duratec had two projects recognised on the national stage, at the 2026 Australian Institute of Building (AIB) Professional Excellence National Awards, held on 29th August 2026 at the Hyatt Hotel in Canberra.
After first claiming victory at the WA AIB Professional Excellence Awards earlier this year, our teams progressed to the national finals, where only state winners are eligible to compete for Australia’s highest recognition in professional building excellence. The achievement highlights the exceptional capability, innovation and leadership demonstrated by our people in delivering complex construction and remediation projects.

These prestigious awards recognise the vision, leadership and expertise required to deliver outstanding project outcomes, celebrating excellence across the Australian construction industry.
Representing Duratec and supporting our award recipients on the night were ACT-based team members Jacques Smith (Project Manager), Stephen Pate (Operations Manager, ACT), and Andrew Latta (Project Manager), who joined in celebrating the achievements of their colleagues and the success of projects delivered through strong collaboration, technical excellence and client partnerships.
The national recognition builds on the momentum established earlier this year when both project teams were successful at the WA Chapter Awards, demonstrating the strength of Duratec’s building, façade and remediation capabilities on projects of national significance.
