Atec Facades (ATEC) has officially opened the doors to its new office in Osborne Park Western Australia, celebrating the milestone with a launch event earlier this month.

The new facility represents a significant step forward for the business, supporting ATEC’s continued growth and strengthening its capability to deliver complex façade systems across Australia.

ATEC is a WA–based subsidiary of Duratec, established to focus exclusively on new build façade delivery for complex commercial construction projects. Operating as a design‑led façade specialist, ATEC manages the full project lifecycle – from early design development and procurement through to fabrication and installation – their clients and partners are provided confidence from concept through to completion.

ATEC Managing Director, Grant Oliver, says the new office and its warehouse facility will provide the space, tools and environment to support ATEC’s next phase of growth, reinforcing its position as a leading, digitally enabled façade specialist within the Duratec Group.

“This facility gives us the ability to collaborate earlier, test ideas at full scale, and deliver smarter façade solutions for our clients,” Grant said.

“It’s a practical investment in capability that strengthens how we design, build and innovate as part of the Duratec Group. We’ve got a solid, growing team that blends years of experience with new digital approaches and practical problem‑solving skills – that’s what sets us apart.”

With a team of highly skilled specialists, ATEC leverages advanced digital engineering practices, connected workflows and integrated global supply chains to deliver high‑precision, efficient and transparent façade outcomes. The business leads in the digital space, with all design undertaken in 3D while continuing to provide industry‑standard 2D documentation. Full BIM workflows enable improved visualisation, tighter material, quantity and cost control, and earlier design‑for‑manufacture decisions, while also accelerating research and development across materials, fabrication techniques and installation methodologies

ATEC is currently delivering several flagship projects, including the façade package for Curtin University’s Perth campus—a large and complex scope showcasing the business’s end‑to‑end capability. The team is also nearing completion of the Northern Territory Art Gallery façade installation, having collaborated closely with Sitzler and other consultants through early contractor involvement and detailed 3D modelling to optimise both constructability and architectural outcomes.

The new Osborne Park facility and ATEC’s digitally led approach position’s the Duratec company to deliver increasingly complex façade solutions, inviting clients and partners to engage early and collaborate with ATEC on the next generation of façade projects across Australia.
